The Trilakes gets its name from it’s three lakes in the area, Palmer Lake is located in the Town of Palmer Lake; Monument Lake is located in the town of Monument, and Lake Woodmoor is located in the Woodmoor subdivision which is just outside the city limits of Monument.

Monument being the most popular city in this area is also accompained by the Town of Palmer Lake. People love this area becuase of the views of the Front Range and additionally, having easy access to both Colorado Springs and Denver.

The Town of Monument is a statutory town situated at the base of the Rampart Range in El Paso CountyColorado, United States. The town is part of the Colorado Springs Metropolitan Statistical Area. Monument is bordered by Pike National Forest on the west, Colorado Springs and the United States Air Force Academy to the south, foothills and rock outcroppings to the north, and rolling plains to the east.
